Sojourns

i may have been rendered
faithless;tho' hav'nt yet surrendered
it'll take the nile or the amazon'
to extinguish the fire that lights
my insides,maybe even not

i may the seagull thy jested
upon;who knowingly never rested
seeking something beyond gull-thoughts
who flew higher than his powers

i may devour glory galore
or rest upon the deep sea floor
my mind devoid of these vicissitudes
would know solace in only the
milestones,maybe even not

and undaunted by lows i rise
seeking aurora in the desert premise
wandering soul towards the north i stay
and only the whole arctic could
quench me,maybe even not.
